Hello. I just logged onto ********** to preorder one of the M4 manix 2 sprints that a fellow forumite was kind enough to post about, when I read on their website that they will not ship to NY, I guess as a sort of protest about local laws. I've never had any problem receiving a knife that I have ordered from anywhere so I'm guessing they are just taking a stand based on principle. Anyway, is their anyone out their (outside of NY) willing to preorder one for me? I'm guessing that we are not charged until they ship? If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it. Please contact me if you can help.

Edit: I really only need your shipping address if you are willing to have my knife shipped to you. I will give them my payment info and just use your shipping info.

If you choose to go through with this then be very careful. What is to stop someone from giving you an address that can't be linked to them, receiving your knife, then never sending it to you?
 
Just send X amount of dollars i think it was 153? it to a relative or friend in a different state get them to buy it for you and have them to mail it to you.

I appreciate that. I'm aware that I am vulnerable in this situation, and could easily be ripped off, but I would only accept an offer from an individual who has an excellent reputation on the forums or who I have dealt with before. I have enough trust in the community here to feel confident that I will find an honest person to help me. :thumbup:

There is nobody. Only family out of state are those I haven't even spoken to in years. No friends out of state.

Sticking with someone on the forums is a good idea. Good group of people here. I would offer to help, but I am a little leery of the liability involved; especially if the package is lost somehow.
 
If you ask this of someone, It would be in your best interest to buy the insurance that I believe is available from that site as well as paying for insured/certified postage to you from whomever (if anyone) decides to help you. A bit extra but at least you have your knife.
 
You are welcome to have it shipped to me in NJ. I work in midtown manhattan and can hand deliver it to you there.
