Yes you are correct in thinking of that as a swedge. The Native above is a drop point profile.

haha I should have just deleted everything i posted instead of just editing the first part. As soon as I posted that blurb with the Native I knew I had my wires crossed

But, I've always kindof thought of the Native as spear point. It's not exactly symmetrical but it's close, no? Drop point is probably technically correct on it, though.

Actually, the tip of Native is close enough to the centerline of the blade that I would call it a spear point rather than a drop point.
