Can someone make a list of knives that utilize carbon fiber in their design?

Wikipedia info:

"The carbon fiber can become further enhanced by heat treatment processes. Carbon heated in the range of 1500-2000 °C (carbonization) exhibits the highest tensile strength (820,000 psi or 5,650 MPa or 5,650 N/mm²), while carbon fibre heated from 2500 to 3000 °C (graphitizing) exhibits a higher modulus of elasticity (77,000,000 psi or 531 GPa or 531 kN/mm²)"

Utensils

"Knife manufacturers sometimes use carbon fiber for functional purposes, such as creating lightweight handles and scales. Some also use carbon fiber inserts for decorative purposes. An entire knife can be constructed from carbon fiber."

But will the knife be sharp? I've seen some come apart but it may
be a different kind, or may be made differently. I dunno.

Sure would be light though.

I am really interested in the CRKT M16-13 in carbon fiber and a Spyderco Police in the same. Those would be amazing in my mind. They still around in circulation?

Thanks for the info guys... awesome posts!

P.S. The M&W 710 would interest me as well. Does Chris Reeve make and Sebenza's in them?

I DO know. It will not cut.

You are talking epoxy/carbon fiber laminates. Just like fiberglass laminates only they use carbon fibers.

William Thomas I believe uses Carbon Fiber, Titanium and carbide to make an awesome knife. An internet search will find you his website.

I have a Lambert Whar folder (custom) with beautiful CF scales and timascus bolsters.
In some ways it is the ultimate handle material. It can be made as slim as Stainless steel ,is as light as FRN and as tough as G10.

I just got a SS Police today and now I find out there is a CF as well!

Warren Osbourne(or Warren something anyway?) made an incredible CF Katana and other knives of CF with a metal edge .

I was looking for a CF Police last night but I could not find one online for the life of me. I saw Crickets in CF, but no Police. Anyone have any idea where I could find one?

Thanks for all the posts...
Ryan

Now that I think about it a little more, there may not be a cf police. lol Sorry for the misinformation if there isn't.
-> Well, someone in the spyderco forum said there were 1500 of them produced.
->Yep, the just saw a pic. Never shoulda doubted myself. Best bet to find one would probably be ebay or in the exchange.

Beretta made a knife called the Avenger, if I remember correctly. That one had a Carbon Fiber handle, as well as a carbon-fiber-laminated VG-10 blade. It sure looked cool!

It seems like there used to be a lot more Carbon Fiber handles out there in the past. Maybe it's not as Cool as it used to be. My favorites that I still EDC are the Microtech LCC D/A with Titanium bolsters and Carbon fiber handle slabs, and a Benchmade 730 Ares with Carbon fiber handles and M2 blade. Both are long out of production, but still look great.

Browning had a few models with Carbon Fiber handles, as well.

I am a big fan of Carbon Fiber, and this is one of my favorites.

A Lambert Inferno with full carbon fiber handle, over titanium of course.

I know this might not help, but any chance I get to show of this amazing knife I take.
