I don't have a pic to post so I will do my best to describe it.
I bought this knife at a gunshow in about 1994. It is an EK commando bowie knife made in Effingham, Ill. It has a wood handle that is sort of blocky. I took sandpaper and rounded off the edges and corners of the handle as it wasn't very comfortable to use. It is some sort of matte finished stainless steel blade that is around 6-7 inches long, and is very very sharp and easy to sharpen.
I have used it, and so it isn't a new knife.
Anyone else have something like this?
I am wondering what steel it is made of and the quality of the steel.
Thanks, I just found this forum and it is great.
Reignited my knife fetish. Maybe fetish isn't the word I want but I sure enjoy collecting them.
