Can the beckerheads appreciate my custom ESEE's?

very nice as usual, Birchwood. Still loving my setup from you. Nice going gold too. I need to get mine back.

Nice work for sure.
I may be in touch soon for a setup
on my Becker BK-11CSM.

Mountain Wildman if you are going to go for a setup for a BK11CSM i would suggest possibly sending the knife to him first so it can be made to the actual knife's specs.. I had a CSM and due to its... "funky" shape (looks like its filed unevenly), custom wood, micarta, and even Birchwood's G10 did not fit properly... they were too big for the CSM's handle. The G10 does fit on the Camillus and KA BAR BK11s but it did not fit on the CSM that i had. I remember reading a thread where it mentioned that most of the BK11CSM had somewhat of an irregular shape. Just wanted to give my .02 If i still had mine i would post pics of what i mean but its now in the Col.'s hands.

I like only maybe the ESEE 3 and 4. In fact they're all beautiful. However, I don't like the balance on them. The Beckers are a personal favorite because I like the balance.

Other than that, they are nice, well made and you have put together a nice setup!

Nice job birchwood! That denim micarta is perfect on there. Is it single-colored, or did you layer in some different kinds?

Yeah I dig some ESEE goodness. I even have a couple: ESEE-6 and an Izula.

ESEE and BK&T are related now ever since the Izula and BK-11 hooked up and had kids; the BK-14 and BK-24.

And, the kitchen knives!

And the bags!

I always looked at them as kinds of cousins... Maybe kissing cousins, but that is only cause Esee is from Alabama and can get away with that there!

It is single colored fabric. However when I pressed it, I alternated the sides (the back side was slightly lighter) which, in turn, have it a more layered look.

Looks great, and definitely appreciated here.
Can't wait to see what you come up with for the 24.

Very nice! and im loving my setup, thanks again...

But now my candiru thinks it needs G10 too... lmao, it definitely needs a sheath BAD

birchwood, Beautiful work, keep posting. Esee formerly RAT were the knives that got me into Beckers. From what I understand there has always been a comraderie between the two groups when Esee used to be part of Bladeforums.
