can the bk2 really be used as a pry bar? or was this exaggerated talk in some reviews that i read.

if this is not exaggeration, could a bk10 be used as a pry bar?

A pry bar makes a serviceable pry bar. But the handles a too slick for my weak 10 year old girl hands.

No, I need a pry bar with rubberized handles, because I figure if I pry something for 10,000 reps, while holding onto a running engines headers, I shouldn't get hot spots.

Really, actually, since pry bars can be used by thieves, they should all be banned for public safety.

But just imagine that somehow a kid got a walmart visa and bought the bk2 online to use it as a crowbar to break into peoples houses and then it slipped and hit the homeowner in the face

You can also use the bk2 and the bk10 interchangeably as a crowbar

sincethose reviewers were not employees of KaBar and neither KaBar nor Mr Becker have ever advertised any of the Becker line of cutlery to be "pry-bars" and they have gone so far as to state using the knife in a manner not intended, such as prying or throwing, will void the warranty, I do not recommend you use the BK2 (or 10) for such things.

Yes you can use the BK2 as a pry bar, but requires you to practice a technique beforehand. First you grab the BK2 blade by your left hand as hard as you can, the with your right hand try to pry open your left hand without leaving go. Trips to the Emergency Room are optional, but this prying will not ruin your warranty and all, unless you squeeze too hard and crush the blade. But so far only the Beckerheads Hulk and Wolverine managed.

The BK 2 can be used as a guillotine, toothpick, razor, bread knife, Chinese star, monument, conversation piece among other things.

Sure it can.

Should it?

Of course it shouldn't.

Better not be. If I get an IP match, it's adiós amigos. :p
I don't think so though. proton's been spreading logical nuggets in other subforums as well.
