Can the fixed blades be attached to your leg?

I'm thinking about a green beret in a 7 and I'm wondering if the regular or optional sheath will be good for a boot/leg. They don't have big obvious holes like the g-clip sheaths I normally get from spyderco. Unlike the folders I think the fixed blades are a good deal.

The regular nylon sheath has MOLLE loops on the back that you can pass 1" nylon webbing straps through in order to secure it to your leg.

I carried mine on the belt in a Survival Sheath Systems kydex sheath with a BladeTech Tek-Lok, and it was a very good carry solution for that big ol' fixed blade.
