Anyone else really want one of these? As soon as they are available I'm going to Golden since I'm only a couple hours away and getting one and checking out the place for the first time. I hope it's sometime this summer!

I'm really looking forward to this one too! Lucky you! I'd love to head down to Golden at some point to see the outlet store! I have a feeling that seeing all of those Spydies at once would put a giant smile on my face, while my wallet begged for mercy!
 
I am also eagerly waiting this one. Hope it is released soon! I have had my preorder in since KC posted it to thei web site.
 
A compression lock for under $50 will be hard to beat. I wish it had something besides bd1

I'm stoked for this one. I love the BD1 steel on my Manix LW. Took a great polished edge for me. I'm glad they are using the compression lock more.
 
I overlooked it the first time I saw it in the midyear catalog, but when I saw it had a compression lock and the price point I was excited to get one.
 
Just got my mid-year guide and finally saw how big (or not too small) the rhino is. Getting one for sure. My only complaint - it is too cheap to qualify for free shipping. What were they thinking?:eek::thumbup:

Is there another knife that it can be compared to size wise? I am thinking maybe a Kershaw shuffle which just doesn't seem right for some reason.

Your comparison with the Shuffle is pretty close. Both - and by that I mean the Rhino prototype - have a ~2.4" blade, and length of ~5.9". Its a small knife.

This is the only one from the mid-year catalogue that really jumped out at me as a must have. The handle shape seems similar to the Navigator/Meerkat/Salsa, all of which I love. It'll be my first compression lock knife, unless the jade Paramilitary hits first, in which case that will be my first compression lock knife. Either way, both are on my "plan to buy" list.

(I swear I can stop anytime. :p)
 
when do products from the mid year guide usually come out?

Love the compression lock so this and the Sage 5 will be day one buys for me!
 
I love my shuffle so this will definitely be one for me to check out. Any word on pricing?
