Can the Rhino Get Here Sooner?

for 50$ I am definitely getting this knife. A good geomtry blade with good belly control (from looks) at that price tag? how can I not.

damn, my Friday just took a turn. Apparently the answer the the thread's title is "no."

Spyderco tweeted me saying:

Hi Brian, unfortunately, there has been a production delay on the Rhino. We don't have a new ETA at this time. :(

Thats disappointing, definitely my most anticipated Spyderco this year.

the Twitter account also told me that there's no ETA on the Spydiechef either.. do the mid year releases ever carry over to the following year?

i like everything about this knife but the size. too small for my needs. awesome blade shape, but i want a 4" version. so be it.......

yep, chinook looks good. love the persians. very useful blade shape many overlook due to the style of them. for years i didnt care for the look once i got one it and used one it opened a door for me. just like the rhino setup except for the size.

Rhino is the one of very few new Spydercos I am looking forward to buy. I think that my nephew also needs one. :)

Excited for this one. Looks like it might be a good candidate for some custom scales by one of our fine forum craftsmen.
