Recommendation? Can this be fixed?

Hi guys, here is couple pictures. As you see, that is just natural figuring, coloring of the wood. Off course, since customer is not happy with that wood and I can't fix that, I just offer him full refund in my first email.
Cheers!

Thank you for putting up the original images Danijel

I have given it a try with sanding. Started with 240, and moved on with 400,800,1000,1500,2000,2500
Was time consuming, but I found it very pleasing to do, if only i had the space to make knives :)

After the sanding I used renwax as a last finish, to protect the wood from oxidation, and give it that last shine.
Some pictures of it after sanding, and after renwax.

I think it turned out great

Still there, it even shows in the dark parts of the wood as a light colored line, which means it's natural IMHO. The piece is still amazing in a way that any non natural material could be

Yes it is still there. I wouln't sand to much, risking making the handle to small.
But I enjoyed the process, and the result.

Thanks for the help with the photos, dont know why I couldn't upload them correctly.

It does look like a "band" of something.
Could it have been something that put pressure on the tree when it was growing?
Like barb wire or so pressing in to the tree while it grew thicker?
