How long did it take to cut a tree that size down?
Nope.......the 51 in 5150 means that it has a small amount of chromium and the 50 means .50% carbon. The 52 in 52100 means it has more chrome and 1% carbon. 1055 should have around .55 % carbon, a little bit of manganese and the rest is iron.
Scott is just being humble, putting that larger knife in those pics.
He actually downed that pine with one of his PSKs.
And it took him 45 min., not an hour.

As to the favorite. Right now its my little Adirondak Skinner. But to be fair, the Gossman, and the two Kosters got sent off during the passaround. They're awesome knives and would beat mine out if I owned them.
