so if i have to finished pieces of micarta i made and lets say they are too thin or i just want the look of one on top of the other.

can i sand them flat with really course sandpaper and use the same epoxy i used to make the micarta and clap it together to harden?

i do ideally having it be one piece in the first place would be better but im just curious if this can be done

and as a side question could you use a thin layer of wood under the micarta, or even between the layers?

and thank you so much for you help so far, my first mycarta knife turned out so wonderful and i would not have been able to do it without the help i got here.
and even though you have probably seen it and it has nothing to do with this thread im going to show it off again (even though it doesnt even compare to what others on this site make, but for a first try i am happy)
its black denim and a tan fabric and a ceramic blade i bought

Since I have never done what you are talking about I hesitate to give an opinion, but since no one else has answered your thread, I will.
There is no reason gluing a micarta slab over another one, or putting a slab of wood under the micarta would not work.
I would recomend using pins or some sort of fastner to hold the slab on the knife tang.
I have seen some really nice handles that were made the way you are thinking about doing.
Go for it and let us see how it turns out.
