can you Paint CS Hawk heads

I just stripped down the Paint off it ,do I need to prime it,and can you use a good metal paint(Spray)? and what type of Poly? Oh It is a Trail Hawk

Krylon works fine.

You might want to use some sort of etching paint first. If you do not use an etching primer, you will most likely end up with paint chipping easily and forming rust.
