Can you upgrade my Spyderco Southard with a Hoback Roller Detent?

As the title says, I'm looking for someone that would like to replace the stock detent in my Southard with a HRD. I'll be honest, I don't know that this is even possible with how the Southard's lock bar is built. The detent sits in the thin portion of the lockbar that meets the LBS, so I'm not sure if there's enough Ti there to hold the HRD. Maybe the HRD can be moved to a different part of the lockbar?

So if anyone has experience building flippers, has used the HRD, and has a Southard laying around to look at and come up with an idea or tell me this is ridiculous and won't work, please let me know!
