They look great! I almost went to Canada once,got a great uncle in upper Michigan. I can't remember why but instead of a day trip into Canada we went to a casino. Closest I ever been to leaving US soil. Lol

Having survived the final match of the soccer world cup on Sunday after two or three near heart attacks I am very happy with my number
I remember the celebration back in 78. I was a child and my parents sent me to bed but I could hear the streets of Rosario, Argentina roaring in jubilant celebration.

I got to think today , I would have been in a real pickle if the final would have been Argentina vs Canada

Can you guys imagine a hockey world championship final between Argentina and Canada (and to make it even more exciting in the times of Wayne Gretzky)

I was happy to see Canada qualify for the world cup after a long time of not being able to, and was cheering for them to move up from the group stage into the round of 16. I was sad it did not happen this time. Hopefully next time

I must confess that I experienced very strong emotions during the final on Sunday, at times even feeling a bit sick to my stomach in the latter part of the game
The relief and joy I felt after the final penalty kick was incredible. Pure sheer happiness , and especially for Messi in finally getting his world cup.

Afterwards, seeing Argentines all over the world celebrating in so many countries I reflected on my life journey as an immigrant, on my identity as an Argentine Canadian
A very satisfying reflection as I am proud of and deeply LOVE both my native and adoptive countries

Today I released my bunny into the Canadian wilderness
