#FB08BMP - Spot Micarta Handle Plain
1.63 in. Reverse S style blade plain edged with a row
of graduating sized holes made of AUS6 stainless steel.
Skeletal handle is made of VG10 steel & Micarta edging
along the handles rim. Index finger hole for easy retrieval.
4.81 in. overall length.

Just clearing up a bit of confusion ( Micarta version is VG10) (Plain Version is AUS 6) There is a tiny hole for locking purposes which is made of AUS 6 on both knives so it would stay in the sheath more securely by Spyderco.

Two S.P.O.T. models were available in 2002 both having a 1 3/8" (35mm) cutting edge. This model is made entirely of AUS-6 stainless steel. Since it's made of a solid piece of stainless steel, the S.P.O.T. has no moving parts to catch, break, or wear-out over time. Combined with a lightweight Kydex neck sheath, the sheath/knife combination carry discreetly and confidently flat under clothing or workout gear
