Here's a Canadian Belt Knife from 1/8" 1095. The blade is 4" with a Hamon that I could not get a good picture of. The handle is 4 3/8" with stabilized walnut and brass hardware. This piece of walnut was full of cracks and voids. I wanted to see how my cactus juice stabilizer would fill those so I left this in the vacuum chamber longer than I normally would. The cracks are still visible but they are stabilized. It will never give you any trouble. I put a rawhide tab in the sheath to keep it from slipping out.
