Aaron Gough at Gough Custom is based in Toronto, and makes some really nice fixed blade knives. He has a YouTube channel as well if you want to check out some of his work: https://www.youtube.com/user/aaronmarkgough
man, alberta and sask are pretty much hotbeds for Canadian knife makers. There's a lot of great guys mentioned already but you could also look into Emil bucharsky, or Clare Broeksma near Edmonton for starters. They are or at least were when I lived there 11 years ago, in a small group of makers that got together every couple months to swap stories and ideas and the whole group are outstanding guys all round and full of experience.
i'm in Toronto, I've been moving towards bushcraft type knives and small fixed blades. Like rustyrazor said you're in a major hotspot for knifemakers though as far as Canada goes- quite a few in Alberta to my knowledge.
Well I live in Kamloops B.C. and am available at 250-372-8332 and frankniro2@gmail.com. I am not a production maker. My knives are all liner locking and I do make for collectors, hunters, and those people in between looking for a touch of this or that.

I have a custom order with Greg Lightfoot, he makes very pretty folders/flippers, lead time around 5-7 months. He also makes some fixed knives as well, his knives aren't cheap tho, mostly well over $1K.
I’m new to this forum, but wondering if there’s a place in Alberta where I can buy pre-made knife blanks or kits for a scout group?
I’ve got 13 boys that want to make knives for our camps, but the reality of forging our own blades isn’t in the cards right now. Someone recommended this Texas Knife company, but would rather get them locally if possible.
