Canadian knife makers?

I used to deal with Rob at knifemaker.ca when I lived in MB. He sold supplies and did heat treat. I thought he was in Alberta, but that was many years ago and the website says BC now.

I’m new to this forum, but wondering if there’s a place in Alberta where I can buy pre-made knife blanks or kits for a scout group?

I’ve got 13 boys that want to make knives for our camps, but the reality of forging our own blades isn’t in the cards right now. Someone recommended this Texas Knife company, but would rather get them locally if possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
So you've resurrected a thread that was started in 2016...last post was 2019...but you are asking a question that can be answered by people today. So my suggestion.

If you want just blanks, Mike at Caribou Knives here in BC will make what you want. https://www.caribouknives.com/ When I needed a number of blanks for making knives with students a few years ago, I sent him a drawing of what I wanted and after a few emails back and forth we had it all figured out and he made us 19 blanks. He mainly works with AEBL and knows what he is doing. Tell him the long haired teacher from the Environmental School sent you.
