Not quite eye candy but also not a common item to be found in garages and woodpiles in this neck of the woods! The only reason this 2 1/2 lb head might have some collector's value is that the label is still on it. Could be there is a permanent stamp underneath by doubtful. These (according to Len Lee of Lee Valley Tools, back in 1988) were made sometime after the Second World War by Walters Axe of Hull, Quebec specifically for third world export via warehouse/distributor Burgess Tools of Ottawa. Neither business survived past the early 1970s and some of these heads turned up when the warehouse was dismantled in the mid-80s. It is not too crudely made, no welds, and the blade is hard steel. Making and installing an onsite handle is simple enough!. The eye is a uniform 1 7/8" diameter and there is no taper within.

Good score!
Thank you but it wouldn't bother me to move it along to a more appreciative home. These were available for a modest sum through then-fledgling Lee Valley Tools, Ottawa office, along with vintage Ha-Ga-We (Austria) Iltis Forest axe heads, back in 1988.
