Canadian Members Can't Renew By Paypal?

In trying to renew my Gold membership I was informed that membership can't be paid by credit card or paypal but instead payment must be wired or sent by money order. Are you kidding? If this is true I will not be renewing. Please say it ain't so.
 
Paypal is open to all customers. Please reread what you saw.
