Canadian post and customs

Hey to all on bladeforums last week I sent a knife from ireland to toronto canada it left ireland as far as I can tell on the 21st .
My question is how long does a package take to clear customs in canada my buyer hasn't received his knife yet and I am totally unfamiliar with canadian customs or postage.
Any info would be appreciated cheers

Sending from the US to Canada via intl priority takes roughly 6 days my shipment didnt stay at customs long. But I also noted that the knives that I sent were of the legal type, non locking traditional folders. Anything of the modern sort is a bit dodgy.

I was sending from ireland I forgot to say it .

I've sent to Europe before and that took roughly 11 days. So all in all I think you'll be looking at about 2 weeks.

Thanks for that it should put his mind at ease and I'll check my post office in morning to make sure its defo left the country tracking says it's still in transit ireland is small it would of gone around here ten times by now cheers for input

We ship knives from California to Canada all the time. Small fixed blades. Have never had any problems and Customs seems to be pretty straight forward. Week to ten days seems about normal time till the customer has it in hand.
