Going through some of my "excess" Schrades I noticed that I had a few with "Canadian" packaging. Thought you might like to see them.

Can't get them to load so I'm sending them to Larry !!

I've noted them, and have an 897UH in the Canadian clampack. I don't have a really clear picture of it though. The only clue I have as to the date is the paper #7007180711 which on the domestic packaging is dated 2000. I can't see a copyright date on the clampack card, but it is the pre-2001 tans style (before the blue striped ones). I've not seen boxes or CPs with Canadian markings in any other designs.

Mike, a couple have a blue paper #7180703 and some a white paper #7180814.

I've not logged either of those. Are they bi or tri lingual? Do they have a copyright date or website listed? I appreciate your bringing this subject up and getting the pics up. I've archived pictures of the "maple leaf" boxes from many patterns, but the exact timeframe eludes me. I have a picture of a trilingual without the maple leaf too.

Possibly, I cleaned out all the Calgary Wal-Marts (except for 1 where the Sporting Goods Dept Manager beat me to it!!) in Calgary last August. :-))

I also picked up Schrades everywhere I could between August and Nov-Dec 2004. I've a tonne of excess Schrades after filling a display for each of my "young people" and "younger-young people".

As well, I have a couple displays downstairs with one of every main-line Old Timer and Uncle Henry folder.

The blue one (#7180703) has English, French, Spanish and German - no other marks except it states the knife is of 'High Carbon Steel' and the tang stamp is simple "Schrade" over USA 34OT.

The white one (#7180814) has the same 4 languages but it states "High Carbon Stainless Steel" and has the same tang stamp.

There is a 'blue on white' insert that has the same number (#7180814) but this one states "either High Carbon Steel or High Carbon Stainless Steel".

There is one (#7007180709) 'black on cream' that is English only with a "questionaire" making up most of the insert. This has the web site on it.

Web site went up in '98. so maybe the others were concurrent or slightly earlier. It could have been left off because, to my knowledge, it was never multilingual? Thanks Del. That's a few more to add to the list. Scans possible? Larry can pass them to me so as not to burn up my dialup. I sent him the pic of the multilingual clampack. The #7007180709, © 1998, if it has product registration certificate #EKA01-01. Website listed, as you noted. Ever seen the maple leaf on another box design?

I happened to stumble across this when I was looking through ebay today. It's item number is 6609305517, just figured this would go along with the canadian theme.
