What's the blade steel on the canal street, and how's the centering/pull, etc?

As far as I know D2 or 440C was used for most of their production but I am not positive about this one. Centering slightly favors one side on main blade, Pull, Fit and finish etc. are very good on this knife as was their standard at the time.
