Canal Street White Buffalo Pinch Lockback

awesome, thanks for taking the time. That Cannitler does look very beefy. From my experience with the D2 in the Pinch, I am being tempted by the Cannitler, it's a unique pattern and I like the golden color on that American Chestnut.

Hey Voodoosix, any chance you can make a measurement of the blade thickness?

The lockback is ground from 3/32" stock as measured at the tang where it meets with the spring.

As knarfeng noted one of the reasons CSC isn't able to make more models in the 14-4 CrMo steel is lack of thicker stock so I wonder if the half moon trapper has thinner stock, something like 1/16" perhaps?

I am away from home for the weekend, else I'd measure mine for you. If you can wait till Monday, I will try to remember to measure when I get home.

id kind of like to see the Pinch and a GEC #72 side by side, i like the looks of the #72 but the D2 in the Pinch has me leaning in it's direction. about the only thing i can tell from the given descriptions is that the #72 is 1/8" longer when closed.

Very nice looking buffalo on that Pinch. I really need to add at least one to my collection as its right in my preferred size. I held off because I've already got a collection of HMTs but a slim lockback would be great too. CSC's D2 is great and the Cannitler was one of the sharpest knives I've ever had out of the box.
