Hi guys

I got a chance to get out in the bush for a few hours this weekend with Normark(eric), Magnessun(rick) and couple other guys, this gave me a chance to give the candinavain a good using,

I am 100% sold on scandi grinds, this little sucker whittled effortlessly and handled task I would generally use a thicker knife for.I wish I had gotten more pics but the batteries crapped out in my camera

whittled a peices that I split off of a log in two, this is seasoned maple,

a bit of battoning just for fun,

I used this guy to make fuzz sticks, stike my ferro rod and cut up some cordage just for good measure,

In all I am very happy with the why this stle of knife works, and can say you will be seeing more of them, I am picking up some 01 tomorrow and going to make a few from that to see which I prefer,

how about you guys , simply 1075 or 01 ?

Great pics and cool knife bro.

No experience with 1075, so I'll say 01

This is one tough knife guys..... I saw it in action!

Got one more pick of J.Wade testing the Candanavian out while sporting that oh so familiar "$#!T eating grin".

Oh God, if I ran into you three in the woods together I'd think I'd run into the filming for "Deliverance 2 -squeelin' time again". Either that or an "Angry lumberjacks of north america" gathering.:D

Bet there were some killer knives and sheaths in tow though.

By the thread title, I was honestly expecting pictures of something, well....... a little different ;)

Just kidding. Nice pics. That looks like one sweet little knife.

Yup, I came in here to see the pics before Brian took 'em down, but was fouled yet again! :jerkit:

Hehe, great pics, and nice knife, good sir. I can only imagine how many bears you guys scared out of the woods that night. :D :p ;)

Thanks guys

I guess it would be a pretty scary site , that bunch of us in the woods,

Any purty mouths out there......

I just picked up six feet of 01 so I can get to work tonight,

Looks like a fun weekend.... the blade looks like it did just fine. Gotta get Rick to make a really nice sheath for ya.

Was looking in the pictures to see if Rick had his "Bear Burrito" there at the site... :)

Jimi,

That little necker of yours has become my favorite EDC. The thing gets wicked sharp and it is just so darn tough. It just begs to carve and I'm never afraid of damage to its tip - it is just a robust as can be. It is a winner design!
