Blade made by placing cable in side a sealed box with powdered steel surrounding in the voids. Forge weld and shape (simple explanation). Gives a very strong blade and interesting pattern. The blade is 8.8 inches long with silicon bronze fixtures. Premium stabilized spalted maple handle completes the package. OAL is 14.25 inches.

Wow Chuck I love it! It looks Fast! Very Fast and slick for such a big knife "14.25" I love big knives with sutle recurves. And spalted maple is one of my favorites. Great job!

It is a very fast knife. The blade is thin and the handle fits the hand very well.

This one is just about to go out into the garden and cut some unruly cellulose. If it does not move it will be used as a yard knife.
