Canoe trip pics - Ontario

Great pics, I did a canoe trip to the Boundary Waters in Northern Minnesota this summer and your pics bring back some great memories. Thanks for the pics

I love canoeing and camping in the wilderness. The last time I truly felt "away from it all" was canoe camping in Quebec, ninety miles from the nearest town (on the Normandin River between Lac Baud and Lac Poutrincourt).

Those hammocks look pretty handy... the terrain where we camped on that Normandin River trip was very similar to your photo "the forest after a storm." The ground was pretty much a random weave of fallen black spruce trees with a thick layer of moss on top. There was no flat ground to pitch the tent and it felt like we were sleeping on a pile of baseball bats.
