I'm starting a canoe sub-collection. So far I have 2 Case canoes, but looking to diversify to other makers. Any recommendations for a nice canoe?

Böker has made some canoes. Not to be confused with a Böker Plus canoe which is an entirely different animal.

Case Antique Smooth Bone
Schrade Wostenholm Stag 1980
Schatt & Morgan Emerald Green Bone 1996

I like the S&M because the blades are more in line with the handle (not droopy) and a bit more pointy

New; Inexpensive, but excellent quality, blades have a good heat treat.
Marbles (mine has genuine Ramshorn covers)
Rough Rider/Rough Ryder (440A stainless steel, or T10 carbon steel blades in the Classic Carbon and Classic Carbon 2 series.

Camillus, (mine is branded "Remington")
(Taylor Schrade) Hammer Brand (bottom, red jigged bone covers and bomb shield is a 4 blade gunboat whittler)
Colt (was moved to the Rough Rider line, with basically a different shield and tang stamp when SMKW lost the license a few years back when Colt exited the cutlery market)

If you use the Search function and enter "Canoe" as a search term, select "This forum" (instead of "Everywhere") as the place to search, and check the box for "Search titles only", you should get about 4 pages of links to titles of threads that include the word "Canoe".

My only Canoe. Four or five dot from the mid 70s, I think.
The quality of the fit and finish on this is imho excellent.

Canoe collection is up to 3. I set my mind on getting 1 canoe per month - at least for the next year or so. I need to diversify out of the Case brand, but non Case canoes are tough to find.

Amherst Cutlery Canoe, a gift from Nature Boy , lives in the center console of my car (to me that is a place of distinction, since I am often reaching for car knives).

I made a list of the canoes mentioned in this tread, and in the threads linked in this thread. I'm going to try to hunt down the canoes mentioned and add them to my collection.
