Camera, battery grip and batteries are now SOLD
G2

Well folks, I went and done did it, bought the grail of cameras, for me at least,
a Canon 5D Mark ii, so, that means I need to part with the trusty Canon 20D that
has worked so well for me, about all the shots I've posted to date have been
from that camera,
but even so, the shutter count is still very low, as I don't take tons of shots,
just pick and choose, so the count is mid 4k right now.

Included is the body with cap as shown, the battery grip, that holds two batteries
for extended shooting
plus three sets of batteries and of course a battery charger.

I don't find the box for the grip, but it will be well packaged, I assure you!
There is the book, but I don't find the cables and things that came with it
but, if you use a card reader, you wouldn't need some of those things anyways.

There are no lenses with this, as I am able to use those with the new camera.

Price for the body and battery grip and extra batteries is $475 shipped
US Postal money order, sorry no paypal and no trades.
and will also add a 1 gig compact flash card as well, a Sandisk Ultra II

Here is a Review of the camera

Here are some images of the camera taken tonight;

the battery grip also has a vertical shutter release, handy for portrait shots;

three sets of batteries, two are Canon and the other two sets are from Sterling Tek

Question was asked if I would split the two apart, right now want to sell it as it is
which kills me as I had paid over $1,300 for just the body when I bought it!! :(

No real interest in the combo it seems, so I'll go ahead and post the change
on this setup;

Camera body
6 batteries
1 gig Sandisk Ultra II card

price shipped in the USA for $350

BG-E2 Battery Grip fits the 20D
Price shipped in the USA for $125

Payment via US Postal Money orders, sorry no paypal and only possible trade may be a 50 f1.4
Thanks,

Gary, this is a question I could probably get answered by searching online, but figured others might benefit as well. I have a 35mm Canon Elan, and have been toying with the idea of getting a digital body. I believe the lenses I have (ultrasonic EF) will work with this camera. I was actually looking at the digital Rebel package, and it seems like the salesman told me as much. Is this information correct? I looked at this body before and know its a higher quality than the Rebel. Thanks in advance - Mark

Yes I believe that the Elan camera takes Electronic focus lenses and they will
work on this camera, I had the EOS 620 film camera and used those lenses
on this straight away. It's the older manual focus lenses that will not work on here
at least without modified mount.

Do you remember the "life span" on the shutter for these?

Just as a side note.. these are incredible... I used one for tons of my pictures when I lived in Russia....

I might even grab this!

I've heard the lifespan on the 20D is around 100,000 actuation, so, at only 4,000+
it's barely started! and yes, it is an excellent camera, but right now the things I shoot
I don't require a backup and don't want it just sitting and never being used,
will put the money towards a 70-200L or maybe a 50mm f1.4 right now
Thanks,
G2

While I can appreciate offers sent in, but, price is firm,
otherwise it'll stay and just be a backup for me
as I can't let it go for less that what I have it listed
at this time.
