Can't carry it!!!

You guys are all offering reasonable suggestions, but have you thought that maybe just one Sebenza is a leap for many people? I would love to say that I could just buy an exact copy of my Sebenza, but I can't. Try offering some other advice besides buying more :p

Edit: Nevermind, it seems he eliminated the price factor. Your suggestions are plausible, I guess :p

When my arrived by UPS last week, I took my Al Mar Mini-SERE out of my pocket immediately and dropped the Sebenza in....I promised myself that this knife would go with me and be used.

By the way, I did a little math and discovered that the small Sebenza only costs me about 94 cents a day (price/ 365 days) and a large is only about $1.12. Not too expensive when you look at it that way. (I must have gone MAD).
:)

I like that way of looking at it. Sure makes the intimidating price tag look way better........ . :p :D

I don't think that you can truly appreciate the quality of the Seb unless you carry and use it. You are depriving yourself of a great experience.

Hell, amortize it over its real useful life of say 20 years, even looks better and more realistic.
Sm Sebbie plain = 4.5 cents/day
Lg Sebbie plain = 5.3 cents/day

:D :D

Learn how to sharpen that knife !!!! Once you've done that, go buy several identical knives for backups. My wife just can't understand why I have a safe full of knives that are exactly the same. I tell her I need them for work. Oh well :)

I'm sorry but I've had my Sebenza for a year now and I just can't bring myself to use as an EDC. It's not like I can't afford it or couldn't get another one but I seem to be nervous about "usin or losin". Mainly ,I'm pretty sure I will not be able to properly re- sharpen the blade. There must be others out there that have the same problem.

I've always seen it as any good looking knife should function as a user and the knife in your pocket is more useful than the one left at home. Reeve has always made knives to be used and I have found them to have a better fit and finish than customs knives I own. Subsequently, I no longer have the custom knives and I use my Reeves. You could admire something all day and imagine what it is like to enjoy it every minute, or you can use it and enjoy it every minute. You only live once so if you like a certain blade, EDC it :)
