can't decide - leek or blur

Another vote for a Leek. The Leek was my second Kershaw EDC after my Random Task (R.I.P.), and one of the most comfortable carrying, useful knives out there. Like previously mentioned, Leeks come in many flavors, and you will be acquiring more in the future.

The Blur is great too, but those Trac Tac inserts are a big turn-off for me. Good luck.

I'd agree on the leek as well. Endless possibilities with that knife, and it will never let you down.

I also agree that the trac-tec inserts are a little rough. They tear up my pockets pretty quick, which is why I really love the new OCC Blur! No inserts, and the raised web pattern adds a nice amount of gripping surface. Easy on the jeans too;)

Ray, there is a new color for the Blur coming soon. I'll start a thread in the coming weeks.

Thanks, Thomas, for the heads-up...I'll be watching.

You aren't talking about BLUE, are you Coach??

Hmmmm?

I think he might be...I've come across a few blue Blur listings without pictures or any in stock yet...:D

I've got a long way to go if I decide to seriously pursue all the Blur color variations...maybe some day...I was thinking about an OCC for my next...

Anyway, thanks guys...

Ray :)

I say both too, you can't have just one.

I'm disappointed with the 440A steel, having already gotten used to better. That has turned me off of Kershaw for a long time. I find that i rarely carry what I have because of that. The leeks i have came sharp as hell and very pointy, but the wharncliffe shape has so little belly, and the cheap steel so frustrating, that it has become a desk knife for me. Great at some things, but not very good at a lot of things. (number one choice for ripping sewing seams)

The AO is a ton of fun. I especially like the little flipper guard bump on the Leek. It opens with the press of my first finger, different from using a thumbstud and somehow more fun.

The Blur in s30v or s60v would be my choice for edc between those two if i had to pick just one.
