I personally would dismiss the Bestech out of hand. I do own both of the ZT’s. Apparently I’m in the minority as I far prefer the 707 to the 470. With plenty of knives to choose from, I carry the 707 most of the time. I love the extremely light weight (for a 31/2” blade), the unobtrusive deep carry clip and the cutting capability of the slicey 20CV blade.

I'll just be honest. I do not like any of these knives. Sorry to be a debbie downer. I think there are much better knives for a lot less money. The steel is good, and that is all I'll say. I would not chose the BT at all. If forced, I tell you to get one of the ZT's, but again, there are better for less.

Can't speak for ZT707 since I don't own one, but I do feel the Bestech's Samari design is behind those 2. The 470 I have does flip well with good aesthetics:

I managed to find 0707 in an online store, which is physically located in my town! Damn I am lucky!!! So I will just go and see it in a couple of days :) Unfortunately they don't have 0470 ;((( I am really considering buying em both in the future. I just like both too much to make my mind, sooo maybe the super lightweight 0707 will be used at work and the charming 0470 everywhere else ;D

Being able to handle a knife in person can be a big deal. Pictures, stats, reviews, etc. are all very helpful. Sometimes though, I really don't know until I have a knife in hand. Another issues is that as the price goes up, I tend to get more particular and less forgiving.

For instance, the 0470 is my favorite from your list. However, I don't love the look of the clip side. The "show side" is much more attractive. While this can be an issue with frame locks in general, the big black pivot looks out of place to me. I'd also prefer a deep carry clip for professional environments. While this type of clip can be more comfortable in some circumstances, it rides a little high in pocket for my tastes.

It's also worth considering the point from D DocT . If being made in the USA matters, then this may be less of an issue. Overall though, I've found myself moving away from ZT and Kershaw. Companies like WE and Kizer have had a lot to do with that. I would definitely take the time to window shop their offerings. (For instance, the Kizer Clutch in carbon fiber costs $100 less and might work better in this role for me.)

Don't forget the budget stuff from WE. Several of the Civivi knives are very nice and punch way above their grade. Their 9Cr18Mov holds a surprisingly good edge. Handle materials like wood and micarta are classy and warmer to the touch than titanium. Knives like the Baklash with Ebony scales or the new Sencut Snap with Cuibourtia scales cost like a fifth as much as the ZT knives and at the end of the day, I like them better. The Elementum in S35VN and Micarta could be a home run. If a slightly smaller knife matters, the Civivi Bo in Nitro V should be out by the end of the month.

I do not care about the money that much as long as it is under 300. If it's in this price range and I like the design, hell yess. But in 300 this is the only models I like. I really searched for more than a week now. I don't want budget (better for the money) etc. I want to smile of joy every time I need to pull it out of my pocket. It's all a matter of taste and that's mine :)

If you have your heart set on one of those 3, the 470 is the winner IMO. also, purely IMO, the 707 looks like garbage. #beboldagainZT

That's certainly a good reason. Of course, I get a smile of joy whenever I pull out my S35VN Elementum or my Kizer Latt Vind:

I actually got that titanium and carbon fiber Clutch in the mail today. I'll be glad to report back once I get a chance to play with it if you are interested.

X2 , don’t like any of those, store manager = buck 726+ or a smaller spyderco like delica or something small and not buck Rogers looking
and something easier to sharpen 20cv require for diamond stones

470 no contest. The 707, to me, was a disappointment. I prefer the Kershaw Bareknuckle to it. Similar design (same design family), no double detent, very slim and slicey, and there are multiple color and blade steel options available. And they're inexpensive, yet very close to ZT quality.

But the 470 is an amazing knife, easily one of my favorite ZTs.
