Cant decide

I had decided to get a Speed Bump pretty soon. That is until I seen the Junkyard Dogs. Now I dont know what one to get. Anybody have both? What are the pros and cons of each one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well the best advice i can give is really only on the speed bump.

the pros are its fast, sharp as heck, very secure with the stud lock, and really light for a large folder.

the cons, to me anyway, are, if you are not used to the stud lock it will scare you a little closing it, to light for my taste (but not to light for me), handle can come across as cheap (depending on what handle you get).

with the JYD, i have no opinion because i really havnt used it yet.

The most important difference is that the speed bump is AO (assisted opening ) and the Junk Yard Dog is not. I personally prefer the Junk Yard dog, but at some point you will need both and then the Lahar and then the cyclone and then a titanium bump and then an offset and thennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn , you'll be an addict just like the rest of us !!!!

Just what I need, another addiction..lol The speed bump looks like it would be a pain to sharpen.
