Can't find a knife with all these qualitites

Help?! I've been trying to find a new EDC folder for weeks now, but still no luck. Does anyone know of a knife with the following characteristics:

  • Blade length around 3" give or take
  • Non-assisted one-hand open (prefer thumb hole, but can be thumb stud)
  • Tip-up pocket clip that sits super low
  • Drop or spear or similar blade, non-serrated
  • Weight under 3 oz., the lighter the better
  • Street cost under $50

The SOG Aegis Mini would be perfect if not for the assisted open. I want no chance of this thing opening in my pocket. Any way to remove the spring and turn it into a manual open? (crazy talk)

The CRKT FireSafe technology is interesting, and I would be okay with something like that. Unfortunately the clip style doesn't fit my needs.

I've looked at so many knives recently. They all fail for one reason or another. Hoping someone who has seen more knives than me can provide some recommendations. Thanks!
 
Dude, I've used Sog Flash II and Aegis. Haven't had one go off in my pocket, especially as my right pocket liner acts as a sheath. Nevertheless, it has a safety button too. There should be zero reason it opens accidentally in your pocket.

Buck Vantage small. Select, avid or pro. Pro will be right around your $50 mark online.

Boker Hyper is 0.6 ounces too heavy and has thumb studs, but is also a model with a deep carry tip up clip
 
Kershaw makes a lesser known model called the Salvo wich is a no frills manual opener that lacks any kind of flipper and is a frame lock. I believe that Kershaw may have discontinued this model but I'm willing to bet a retailer somewhere has a few in stock. Also you've got the Spyderco Delica wich IMO is a fine knife and probably the best one mentioned. While it's just preferance I like the FFG blade grind over the thicker Saber grind on the Delica 4.
 
Browning Flash 120BL. It's relatively new and the pocket clip is not super-low, but it is inexpensive and around 3".

Cold Steel Counter Point 2?

If you can get a low ride or fold-over clip for it.
