I have a BK2 in the mail as we speak, it should be here by the 2nd and let me tell you, I am one excited guy right about now. I've been researching the knife its self and various mods the last couple of days. Have to say there are a lot of topics related to this knife on you tube and forums such as this (which by the way is why I joined) but for the life of me I cant find black Micarta. Ka-Bar only offers a light green, which I could pick up at Amazon, so I'm a little disappointed.

I am hoping someone here can guide me in the right direction. If I cant find Micarta I may just partially stipple the plastic handle that comes with it. I saw that here and it looked pretty good.

Thanks

Just dye the green ones. I have dyed some a darker green color with rit dye. Worked great and was very easy.

A pair on the bay right now.....

I don't do Paypal (long story) Anyway, it seems those are dyed as well.

Guess I am looking for a manufacturer that produces Black Micarta for the Ka-Bar BK2

Not a big fan of Dying because of the superficial aspects of the dye not soaking in very far.

Thanks for the Ideas... I will keep on searching.
