The Cold Recon 1 is one of the greatest knives of all-time. I have the Cold Steel Recon 1 in spear point, and it excels at all tasks. It's one of my main edc options. Like I always say, you can't have no fun if you ain't got no Cold Steel Recon 1.

Recon 1's are great! I have a decent collection of them that I'll try to post tomorrow. Have you heard about the SOG Seal XR? Gets decent reviews and might be useful for similar tasks. What other EDC's do you recommend?

Well, I love my Spyderco Manix 2 XL.
 
Just to clarify, does the CS Recon 1 need to be on your person in order to have fun? Or can you own a Recon 1, leave it on dresser, and still have fun?

I own a Recon 1 spear point too. I left it on my dresser today and carried my BM Rift and still kinda had fun today. I'm confused.
 
Lasador. Not sure some of his first posts can be challenged. Whether intentional, or unintentional, laughs were had.
