Well,....looks like i can finally post on this forum. Thanks to Sal, or whoever set it up! :)

Some of you might have caught these pics over on the Kershaw forum,.....of i knife i embellished a LONG time ago. (maybe 13 years ago or more?)

After getting it out for the pics, i remember why it had been put aside back then,.....i had used it so much at work the blade was very dull,.....and at the time i didn't have a sharpening stone to get it back in shape. Time went by and i had moved a few times,....and the knife sat in some packing until i REALLY made an effort to find it!

NOW it's got a great edge back on it,......and i will use it at the work counter to avoid scarring some folks. The Zero Tolerance ZT 0200 i also carry daily IS a bit intimidating to the older folks!

Anyway,....long way to a simple question,......but can anyone out there tell which model this is,.....and if it's still available? I believe way back i paid about $75 for it at a local gun store,.....probably a bit high back then but i liked the solid feel of it all.

It's all stainless steel, marked on one side of the blade "Spyderco", and under that "G-2 Stainless". The other side says "Seki-City" and below that "Japan".

On the stainless clip it says: "US Patent 4347665", and below that "FOREIGN PATS PEND".

The closed length is 3 7/8 inches, and opened up is 6 3/4 inches.

So,.....which model is it? THANKS!!!

..........and just for the record,....it is NOT Assisted Opening! ;)

Hey Joe,

I agree with Tony I also believe it is a Spyderco C03 - Hunter made in the mid 90's & you did some awesome engraving work on your Hunter.

I think you stated you had about 35 hours into it & the end result is just beautiful it is a work of art & thanks for sharing it with us here.

Now that you put a sharp edge back on it you have breathed new life into your old friend thats great!

Definitely a Hunter and the G-2 steel marking would indicate that particular one was manufactured the '92-'95 era. Earlier ones would have had no steel marking, later ones, if any were even produced, would be marked GIN-1. But the Pro-Venator may have completely replaced the Hunter in the lineup before the marking was changed from G-2 to GIN-1, since early Pro-Venators are marked G-2.
