Can't reply to a "wanted" post

I get an error message that I don't have permission to post a reply to a message in the "Knives, wanted to buy" area. I seem to be able to start a new thread there however. What's the deal?

I know you can't sell without a gold or platinum membership. Perhaps that includes responding to the WTB threads?
