Spark,
I haven't been able to go offline and review pages I previously loaded. Is there still a way to do this?

Spark,
I hope you're looking into this. You probably don't have anything else to do right now.;)

Are you guys talking about opening a bunch of threads in different windows, then after they all load going offline while you read them? I can't imagine what could stop you from doing that ... what happens when you try? As a general rule no one can help you with any computer problem unless you explain exactly what you're doing when something goes wrong and exactly what happens then -- paste in the error message you get, or if you don't get an error message explain what goes wrong ... screen goes black, smoke comes out the cd drive, monitor explodes ... whatever goes wrong, you have to explain it, in detail. If all you say is "it doesn't work" that only annoys techies.

I think they are talking about using a cache reader or something like that. Unfortunately, now that we have dynamically generated pages, that is no longer an option. Sorry.

Okay, then why don't you try it my way, guys? I'm only running 32meg of ram and I can open a LOT of threads at a time. I've actually done that at times when I'm using my backup ISP, where I pay by online time. I think the most IE windows I've had open at a time is about thirty or forty ... then my system starts slowing down noticeably, but that's enough. Or if that's not enough for you, try Opera.

Spark is right. I would load pages and go back later with the work offline option, reading those pages using my history function. In my opinion this is a big minus for the new software. Sure, I can open ten new windows for each thread, but I can't even use the back function to get where I started from since it won't reload once offline. I have to open a window for each page I want to read. Then, when I close it, its gone for good. Boo, hiss.
