I want my mitts on a pair of the steel heart 1's. They can't get here fast enough. I'm trying to save money for a few while buying microtech OTF's at the same time. It is a difficult thing to do.:eek: :D
 
I have 2 kidneys. I'm selling one so I can get the Anni SH. :thumbup:
 
Is there any chance that they'll have a demo at BLADE? I want to see what Jerry's scotch-induced dreams have turned into.

I supect Jerry will need to be out of knee-deep-ness of BATAC's, so June? July?? I'd say Summer for Thanksgiving delivery.
 
yep.. i'm tryin to stay focused and save up for that Anniv SH too!
there's just sooo much temptation floating around!

i noticed Jerry's sticking with some old school Pricing! the BATAC, EDC Miliganzaaa.. all had some Great prices!

i'm HOPING this will carry over to the SH Anniv knife!
 
There's one knife between now and then that is on the MUST HAVE list for me. But I agree. The SH1's will be a welcome sight on the Busse site.
 
Short of some of the Ganza stuff (which in honesty is priced b/c a lot of it is truly custom) when did Jerry offer an OVERpriced knife?

CGFBM's at $400 base? Steal!
Hell Razors at $300? Steal!
AK's at $500-ish Steal!
Game Wardens for 180-230? STEAL STEAL! Esp. in all of those variants in Satin or DC.

Me personally? I forget how "inexpensive" Jerry's blades are when first issued and tend to use the for-sale prices that crop up 6-12 months later.

I have a feeling the Anni knife might come in at a decent price. Esp. if there is a CG and a LE model.

(EDIT) Of course, I think Jerry has a big pile of INFI out there in teh shop that he bot before steel prices went out-of-sight so he CAN offer us stuff at reasonable prices. If we factor in what steel costs today, we'd be paying 50-100% more for these bad-boys.

No flaming here, but IMO, I think the SOWs were ambitiously priced. Of course, as a result, I DON'T have one of those, so take it for what it is...an opinion by a guy who never had one.:rolleyes:

Still, I too am hoping the "anny" SHs will come in at a "user-friendly" price. Somebody told me that they thought they might come in at @ $1,000. All I can say is that I am praying with all my might that that does not happen. Ughhh! Start prayin', HOGs!!! I need some help here!

I agree with you on the SOWs. That being said, I still had to have one....and it falls into the category of ganza where you can see some higher prices on the customs.

I disagree with the SOWs. The knives are HUGE! and custom shop made!
The prices fit in with recent ganza offerings.
But about the anniversary knife, I'm going to have to pass.
IMO....... It's a mistake to offer it so soon to so many extravaganzas, special offerings like the GWs, and not to the mention the holy of holies, the FBM!

You know, I may actually change my mind on the SOW after I get it and hold it;)
 
At 1000.00 I would pass on even one. That's way too much. Is still INFI, and less material than a FBM. That would be a rip in my eyes, even if it were an LE and the last batch ever made. The FBMLE was only 700.00.
Just my opinion though, others may feel differently.

oh man.. now i'm feeling bummed..

i sure hope there's a CG version, hehe.

yeah i wish there were some kinda pics and/or some ballpark figures on pricing.

if it's $700-$1000.. i'll just call it quits now (saving up)..
and get a Muddy CGFBM right now while i can..
 
Just so there is no misunderstanding, the $1,000 guess came from a HOGlet here on the board who, though very experienced with Busses, AFAIK had no direct info from anyone at Busse. It was a guess and nothing more. :D
