Well, actually one of my Fathers day presents was taking time to make my son a knife that he inspired me to make. Nothing too large, but larger than what he had.
Here is what we came up with. The handle is very nice for guys with larger hands, My son will be a big fella so I dont ever want him to outgrow this knife!!
Blade is 5 1/2" long 11" overall.
Steel on these are 3/16" D2 at 59RC
His is natural canvas micarta
Mine is black and green linen with red liners.

These feel GOOD!!!!
I am thankful today to have the means to do this for him. Many personal reasons, but I am happy to have family to love me and like a few things I happen to do and give me ultimate support!:D

Okay Okay...now to the pictures......

very nice pair of knives, i hope you both enjoy those.

good to hear that you were able to take the time.

Those came out great Brian. I like that new pattern a lot. Especially the natural Micarta, that's my favorite :D

Wowza, Brian. I think you found another groove. You should add these to your line, especially if they fit large hands well.

Those look great!

Your knives all have a distinct look that I find very appealing.

Thanks for sharing tat with us, Brian.
The knives look great. The handles look like you thought a little when you designed them. Intriguing. They look like they will be escellen-handling knives.

What can I say but wow !!!

Hope your son realises what a talented dad he has !!!!!

Awesome looking blades  If the D2 on those holds its edge like the kitchen knife I got from you, it shouldn't require much sharpening :D
