Can't we all get along give-a-way

Man i've been hanging around this forum and reading even though I don't own a Busse. I sure do like visiting the Busse and ESEE forums and get alot of enjoyment from reading up on survival techniques and gear. I live in the city and I guess these forums plus survival shows really get me in a better mood because there are so many great things out there in the world. I just hope I can travel and explore more in the future.

camping last summer when we brought our new dog Remy, this is me being the early bird like always and waiting for others to get up.

DUDE YOU ARE LIVING THE DREAM

I am humbled by your comments.

I am better for knowing both of you .

I only wish we still lived close to each other.

Dave, the most recent happy moment happened the same day you started this cool thread here. So I will share it with you and the rest of the Busse family here, since the family is what makes a Busse even more unique than it's strength and reliability, despite any differences. This might not have happened if I hadn't met you in person as it wouldn't have meant as much to me. Every time we hung out you demonstrated to me first hand what a true HOG really is, so thank you for that and don't ever change, my friend! I'm finally an official cyber inducted piglet!

Some other things that make me happy...

Memories of last summer with my Sweetheart and my Steel Heart. :D

Followed by a Thanksgiving engagement...

A road trip on a sunny day last week from Montana to Idaho where the Clark Fork river was completely frozen over. This looked amazing in person.

Making steady progress on my attempt to get back to a simple and self sustainable lifestyle. After several months researching the right kind of animal for our little place here in the woods we were very excited to welcome the most recent arrivals to our new INFIyak ranch. That would be our starter herd of yaks that are quiet, hardy in cold weather and easy to work with as a pack or work animal. On top of that, they are a source of rich milk, very tasty meat, great hides, fiber for weaving and mischievous entertainment all wrapped into an efficient package that eats 1/3 of what the same sized beef will. The best part is with the horns they aren't messed with by wolves or bears so with a 20 year average lifespan the future looks both challenging and promising.

Bullet is our young bull. The second pic shows his growth potential in this comparison of him to his dad.

Yingyang is our oldest heifer a couple months younger than Bullet.

And the 3 baby girls with Yingyang. We are still picking out names for them though. We're leaning toward Buffy the hayslayer for the brown one since she looks like a mini Bison. :D

This will seem weird and lame compared to things like peoples dogs and their loved ones, but it's one of the more consistent happy things in my life.

Thick rich barely filtered coffee glory. If you get the temperature of the water, the coarseness of the grind, and the steep times just right, this particular year of africa to africa has a high note of mint. Like, the most pure 'herbal' flavor I've experienced in a coffee. it's magic.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........................ coffee!

What HE said!! LVC, dang you!! I'm drooling on my keyboard!!!:thumbup:

...Oh yeah, happy post...!
Coffee, cats, knives, sunsets, BLADE Shows and any chance that I get to "stalk" Amy makes me happy!! ;) ...And if SPRING ever gets here, that'll make me happy too! :D

Did you say SNOOPY DANCE???

Thanxx for this giveaway & a shot at a sheath, David! :):thumbup:

My happy moment was when I bumped into Beef, Woz and Amy-Zippo in the elevator at dinner time in Easton. We all got to hang out for the night and they treated me like family.

Happy thought #2: meeting all the great hogs at the show, and our infamous excursion into parts unknown to find cigars for the after-party.

Thanks, Dave. I hope I get lucky, because you make great stuff and half my blades are missing pants (they aren't bashful). Heck, I am missing pants half the time, too, so maybe there is some kind of cosmic synergy to it.

Hmmmmmm.. let me think

Some Hog related happiness is sitting outside the Waverly Hotel in Atlanta with my fellow Hogs having drinks and recovering from a Fogo's Meat Coma.

mmmmm Fogo's

Origami Yodas FTW!!!

A few pics of things that make me happy...time in the woods with my father. They are, without question, the brightest memories in my life. I love you, Dad!

Hello to everyone,

I'm new to Busse, and I'm really loving the community feel on the forums. I'm in the process of finalizing my first Busse purchase at the moment, and can't wait to be part of it all!

Thanks for the contest, and shot at the sheath Dave.

This video really made me smile.

Thanks again

My girlfriend makes me happy. This is a painting she did of the day we had our first kiss. It's called "Death Date " because we both almost died!

Seeing my wife and kids. Whenever, wherever, however.

That's my happy time.:)

Thanks for the excuse to share something positive. Quite apart from any issues around the Forums, my life has seen a heapin' helpin' of stress lately.

To AZHAMT: my personal best wishes for your and your lovely lady. You've got a good road ahead of you; all you've got to do is stay the course.
