This forum is just about the nicest little corner of the internet and I want to further contribute to all the positive energy.

I've decided that I don't need 2 KLVUKs and so one of them is going to a lucky forumite out there somewhere. I have done some tweaking to this one. I removed the forge scale and forced a patina using vinegar, I filed some rough edges off the buttcap, and I polished the satisal wood handle and finished with several coats of tung oil. Have a look:

I'm not a big fan of rules but there's going to be a couple:

1. Must be 18 or older and legally allowed to own this knife.
2. Must have at least 1 post in the Cantina or regular H.I. forums prior to this thread.
3. US winners will get free shipping, but international buyers will need to help me out with the extra cost.

That's it! To enter, just post in this thread. Your post number is your entry number.

Contest ends Friday, February 14th at 11:59 PM EST. I will choose a winner with a random number generator over the weekend.

Good luck everyone and thanks for all the fun times!

I dont want to be entered into this because I have lots of kvluk, but i want to say this is a great idea

I'm in! I had one and have regretted getting rid of it ever since. Thanks for the generous giveaway Philllll!

Excellent and very generous offer Philll, you done some nice magic on that blade. I've been so darn lucky on this forum I'm gonna bow out on this one and give others a chance.

I'm in! Technically being 17 my parents will need to be the ones of whom finalize the transaction.

I find it funny: I've enlisted into the army at 17 but can't buy anything perceived as a weapon until I'm 18

Awesome, philllll! Could really use a second neck knife. :D
Na. Would send it to a close friend who went to Nepal this year and didn't manage to find a good Kukri. (somebody in the HI forum seems to have had a similar problem)
Time to light the HI fire in him!

I'm in, please.
Tho it has been many year since posting I still remember Uncle, Rusty and a few others fondly.

That's nice work and appreciate the change for it.

What a great idea, great karma brother, this is what keeps me here, all the great people. Please pass on me, I just wanted to say what a great thing your doing, and it gives some of the newer folks here a chance that don't have a KLVUK.
