What, no Glog?

Thinking about Glog reminds me of the Christmas that Eddie Johanson's grandad was making glog and it ignited and caught his hair on fire. Somebody threw a wet dishtowel on his head and Eddie's uncles grabbed the old man up, ran him outside, and plunged him headfirst into a snowbank.
Evidently that's a traditional Swedish treatment for an occurance that's not as rare as it should be. The old man didn't seem to suffer any ill effects, but the next day I would have given a days pay to be able to get out of bed and plunge my head into a snowbank.
