Canvas Micarta vs. G10 - a few thoughts...tell me what you think

It is a poor conductor and a fantastic insulator. Hence it's use as circuit-board material.

G10 is a good conductor.

Does any one make G10 scales for the 11? I haven't seen any. Also why are they so expensive? The ones I have seen for the 14 cost almost as much as the knife. After all, isn't G10 a plastic?
 
My absolute favorite handle material is Brown Canvas Micarta. Dan, feel free to put that on my Folding Bushcraft if you happen to have some laying around!!!
