This knife is flat ground from 5/32" A-2 tool steel . Hand sanded satin finish to a 500 grit . Heat Treated to an Rc. 60-61 .

I designed this knife as a caper for detailed work but it is capable of many many task and uses .

O.A.L is 7-1/4"

Blade is 3" with a sharpened edge at 2-3/4"

Width is 1" at the handle

Handle is Antique Ivory Micarta with red liners , 3/16" copper & SS mosaic pins and SS lanyard tube .

Sheath is 9 oz , right or left hand carry . Knife rides deep in the sheath .

Very nice indeed Jack. I think of a knife like this as a "Utility". Perfect EDC size and capable most any cutting. And this one has some of the finest ivory Micarta i've seen.
I doubt it will last long as unsold, just too nice a knife.

wow beautiful work and wonderful looking bevels. How did you grind the bevels?

Timbit , I always use a file guide on the blade since my eye surgery . The main work is done on the flat platen and all is trued up on the disc sander .
