Cara Cara 2 backward blade flex

SOP for lockbacks. Triad or powerlock solves this problem with the addition of a stop pin.
This is incorrect. Lockbacks are very reliable and moderately strong locks. They rarely fail unless they're abused.
While a minute amount of vertical movement when pressure is applied to the blade is common in midlocks, having the blade move far enough to disengage the lock most certainly is not. Your Cara Cara is defective and needs to be returned to Spyderco.
This is correct. Your lock either has a geometry or parts problem. Send it in to Spyderco. I'm betting it will be covered under warranty.

The Triad Lock is pretty nice. But, I have never had any issues with back locks, period. I have had a lot of issues with liner and frame locks, so I do not trust them. Lock backs rock, as far as I am concerned.
