Carbide platen plate

Put a torch to it, melted the epoxy, and took off the glass. Cleaned it up, flipped it over, and now I'm using the other side. Seems too cheap and simple for carbide to be worth it, IMO.

I use fine SIC sand paper to make small radius on my new ceramic glass ...........
