Carbon crazy (fiber, fat, marbled, etc)

Thanks for starting this thread, bladerunner.
I hadn't owned much in the way of CF in some time.
Then I recently got my hands on a special Mike Irie semi-custom version of a Three Rivers Mfg. (TRM) Neutron 2 folder.
It's a liner lock and both scales are a lovely 3D, contoured lizard skin CF

It's quite the nicest carbon fiber I have seen. Crazy light. Strong. And beautiful.

The blade is hollow-ground Magna, with custom Ti thumb studs and barrel spacers.

I can't believe how little it weighs.

I've been carrying Micarta and G-10 folders; but this made me want more CF. I ordered two Chris Reeve with the KnifeArt exclusive CF scale. Lovely but nothing I've seen compares to the feel of the lizard skin CF.

Photos when I can.

It was a while ago, but Benchmade offered carbon fiber scales for the Rukus.
